As Dr. Tabbal believes a single surgery approach is best, he will most likely perform both a lift and augmentation in the same operation. As noted above, in some situations, he may assess that staging it into two surgeries is best.
An incision will be made in the previously decided area, whether that’s along the breast crease where the underside of the breast meets the chest (inframammary fold) or in the areolar areas on down to the breast crease. The breast tissue will then be lifted and reshaped to improve breast projection and firmness. Excess breast skin can also be removed and the remaining skin will be tightened. Then, the chosen breast implants will be delicately and precisely placed before the incisions are properly closed.
What Is Recovery Like After a Breast Lift with Implants?
After surgery, it’s wise to schedule at least one week off of work. You will leave in the care of your designated family or friends, and you will spend the first few days resting.
