This is 68-year-old female patient had suffered for decades with back, neck, shoulder pain that restricted activities of her daily life due to the weight of breasts.
She underwent a superomedial pedicle, wise-pattern skin breast reduction with resection of over 700 grams tissue from each breast. Her surgery and recovery were unremarkable, and the patient immediately felt relief of her symptoms after surgery.
